The free iOS app of the week is space game Hyperburner

The free iOS app of the week is Hyperburner. Usually priced at $2.99, the game will be free through this coming Wednesday. With the game, you are flying a space ship right into the path of danger. The more you fly, the more dangerous the courses become. The fast paced action has you traveling through six zones, each of which features five different stages. And as you make your way through the game, you get to unlock better, faster ships to use.

You can check out the game in action by tapping on the video at the tap of this story. We should point out that Hyperburner requires that your iOS device be powered by iOS 8.0 or higher. And Android users shouldn't feel left out. The Android version of Hyperburner can be purchased from the Google Play Store for $2.99. Just click on the appropriate link.

Download Hyperburner by clicking on the correct link (iOS|Android).'

Umm, there is a ton of free apps on Android in comparison to iOS. Especially a ton of free games, tools and utilities.

But Android seldom did paid apps as free. iOS every week give you different paid apps as free.

They're popular apps too, not just garbage no one ever heard about. I actually have this game on my wishlist ("wishlist" on the Appstore is a feature that you store apps you plan to purchase on future invade I get bored and want a new game to buy). Unfortunately sometimes I already bought the weekly free app a while back.

Tons of freemium apps. But you can turn off wifi and data to avoid stupid ads.

Such a good quality app. Every week when Apple promotes a good quality app for free, i download that s**t even if i wont use it immediately. You can redownload for free later, or your family, with family sharing.
