The ZTE Axon 7 mini is officially heading to the United Kingdom for £249.99
As smartphones continue to get more and more powerful, they also seem to keep getting bigger and bigger. I'm personally a fan of big smartphones, as the larger size allows for a more enjoyable experience when watching movies, playing games, and browsing the web. However, for people with smaller hands, large phones can be a real pain to use. The big screen might be nice for content consumption, but when it comes to actually using a large phone (especially with one hand), things can go downhill rather quickly.

The ZTE Axon 7 is one of the best budget flagship smartphones that's come out in 2016, but its 5.5-inch display is a bit on the larger end of the spectrum. ZTE released the Axon 7 mini as a smaller variant of the Axon 7 in the United States back in September, but up until this point the device hasn't been available to purchase in the United Kingdom. Today it was announced that the Axon 7 mini will finally be making the move across the pond, and to get sales started, the phone will be sold exclusively through Carphone Warehouse.

Unlike the monstrous size of the original Axon 7, the mini comes equipped with a much more manageable 5.2-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 chipset and 3GB of RAM power the phone, and a 2705 mAh battery is included to keep the phone running even though more intensive use cases.Couple all of this with a 16MP rear camera, 32GB of expandable storage, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, and a rather attractive aluminum build, and you're looking at a rather powerful and petite package.
