T-Mobile unveils aggressive trade-in offer for the iPhone X and iPhone 8, but no BOGO

Leave it to the Un-carrier to barge in and disrupt the careful trade-in models that Verizon and AT&T have been building for a while. Just like with the iPhone 7, T-Mobile didn't hesitate to pull the trigger, introducing a $300 discount for the new iPhone 8, 8 Plus and X phones, as long as you trade in at least an iPhone 6 in good condition. For comparison, AT&T's trade-in offer for a 32 GB iPhone 7 is sub-$300 at the moment.

T-Mobile's CEO didn't elaborate further on the offer, but there might be similar trade-ins coming from AT&T or Verizon very soon, just like last year. Given that these are the most expensive iPhones Apple has ever announced, T-Mobile subs might be relieved to hear that they can easily offset the cost a bit by bringing their oldie but goldie iPhone to the carrier store. Now, where are the first iPhone 8 BOGO offers?

iPhone 8 is the same old crap, iPhone x is stupidly overpriced here in the U.K... I think I'll give the iPhone a miss this year. Tim Cook said the other day that their products weren't just for the rich.... so who are they for then? The stupid?

Looking at the comments yes rich and stupid . Contract starting from 47 pounds in the uk that will 100% include an up front cost of 400 pounds. When you can get so many sub 400 usd and sub 300 devices what the hell is the reason to buy this phone at this price point. People fighting over im buying now android sucks and You know what i bet they dont even have a penny. Mostly kids

Everytime I see some tool with the iPhone X I'm going to laugh hysterically. All that s**t they talked about Oled displays and glass backs and over pricing. Now you're suddenly drinking the Kool aid. Lmao

BOGO deals might still be up for grabs, sooner or later.

I read a post where a person predicted the only way the iPhone Next would sell is if carriers did aggressive trade-in deals or BOGO deals. The X wont have a BOGO deal maybe, but the 8's will. Wow! $300 for the iPhone 6? Holy Cow!
