T-Mobile pushes new update to LG G7 ThinQ, brings security and system improvements
A new update has started rolling out for LG G7 ThinQ owners that purchased their device from T-Mobile. Weighing in at about 574MB, the software upgrade should bump the version of the device to G710TM10k.

The changelog for the patch mentions the additions of a "Google Security update", bug fixes, and system improvements. We can confirm that the security update in question is for the month of September, and not the latest one (October). Still, it's good to see an improvement in that area since T-Mobile LG G7 ThinQ units were last updated in July.

The update is available OTA, but T-Mo says that it has implemented a daily update limit to avoid network congestion. If you don't receive the update, check back again the next day or after November 6, when the daily limit is lifted. You can perform a manual check by going to Settings > Update center > System update > Check for update. As always, make sure that your phone is sufficiently charged and connected to a Wi-Fi network before proceeding with the patch.
