T-Mobile now offering HTC One M8 for Windows
T-Mobile subscribers can now go online to purchase one of the best-looking Windows Phone handsets, the HTC One M8 for Windows. The handset, which was first offered as an Android powered model, is available from the carrier for $585.60. Or, qualified customers can pay $0 down with 24 monthly installments of $24.40.

With the same specs as the Android version of the device, the HTC One M8 has all of the capabilities you would expect to find on a top shelf model from earlier this year. That includes a 5-inch screen with resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 under the hood. 2GB of RAM is on board along with 32GB of native storage. A 128GB capacity microSD slot is available for those needing more memory. The 4MP Ultrapixel Duo camera allows for post-processing focal changes, similar to Lytro powered snappers. The 5MP front-facing shooter is great for taking "selfies". A 2600mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Windows Phone 8.1 is included.

With Windows Phone 8.1 powering the phone, users of the HTC One M8 for Windows get to use virtual personal assistant Cortana. Accessories include the HTC Dot View case.

Great! I'm a need of a new Windows Phone to replace my ageing Lumia 521, and this would be more than good enough.

I actually find the Windows Phone version more interesting and attractive than the Android one. I'm sure operation would be smoother than ever and there wouldn't be any HTC Sense to ruin the fun. Definitely one of the best Windows Phone offerings right now IMO...

Don't know why, but I cannot order one from the site. It says coming soon, and I called my local t-mo store and the guy said they don't have it. I am seriously getting pissed off with the crap t-mo does with windows phone in general.

i blame mostly microsoft for not having any high end windows phone released yet. they are holding onto the 1520/icon for the longest and we need a 2nd gen of 1020, 925, and 1520.

yeah thats why I mentioned microsoft, the problem is that microsoft is releasing a phone in 2 days but it looks like so far is not a high end device and that is disappointing.

yes it is misleading information since windows central, the phone is not out yet, there is no release yet, but it should be soon. there is not even a demo available so this post was to get clicks even if the info provided was incorrect.

This is a temping offer but they waited too long and I got the Xperia Z3 to keep busy until/if Microsoft makes a Lumia 1030 available across the three supporting Us carriers. Z3 is an amazing phone and Android's app ecosystem seriously is far better than what I was used to on Windows Phone. That may also play a factor in if I go back.
