T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide gets its camera shown off in these videos
Those of you who have their minds set on getting a brand new T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide when it launches are probably looking forward to trying out the 8-megapixel shooter that the handset brags so much about. Marketed as having the “most advanced camera” found on a smartphone today, the myTouch 4G Slide should be able to take great-looking photos even in low-light conditions and promises to do it without that nasty delay between the moment when you press the shutter key and the moment the picture is actually taken.

Here are a couple of videos that will give you a better idea of what the T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide's shooter can do, and its capabilities seem to be pretty impressive indeed. The ability to take HDR photos, panoramic pictures, burst shots, and all of that with zero shutter lag is what one would expect finding on a dedicated digital camera and not necessarily on a smartphone, at least not out of the box. To top everything off, the myTouch 4G Slide can take videos at 1080p Full HD resolution, and your photographic masterpieces can easily be uploaded online with a only few taps.

Whether the smartphone's camera performs as well in real life as it does in the demos. However, will become clear as soon as we take it for a spin. The T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide is expected to launch pretty soon so it would not be long before we get to tell you all about it in a thorough review.

did anyone else catch that glimpse of a redesigned launcher there at the end? it could have been a third party launcher by the looks of it but i doubt that would be allowed on a promotional video.

The only thing I caught is that there is nothing revolutionary with this software. The 8MP is nice, along with 1080P. However, everyone's hated iPhone 4 has all of those features. Not to mention something Android doesn't have with One option Video shooting that will be converted to either MMS or Email or leave in 720P.

@Thump3rDX17 I'm assuming that that's the Espresso Sense 3.0 skin. HTC has a special version of Sense called Espresso for the MyTouch phones

yeah, i knew about Espresso but even for merely a branch of the traditional Sense interface it's a really different look for HTC.
