T-Mobile cuts the price tag on both the Samsung Comeback and Highlight
Nothing tells you that a phone is not selling well than a huge price cut. If a price cut is worth a thousand words, T-Mobile was communicating War and Peace when it slashed 42% off the price of the Samsung Comeback. And if that huge drop in price is not enough to let on that sales were not booming, the model was launched just 1 week ago. The new price is $74 after the $55 price cut and a mail-in-rebate. The Comeback is a 3G flip form factor device with a QWERTY keyboard and a 2MP camera; in other words, a great texting phone for the tween set. And the new price means they won't need as many babysitting jobs to buy the phone.

The other phone cut in price is the Samsung Highlight. This model is a 3G touchscreen phone with a 3MP camera, 3 inch display and IM support. The new price is $129.99, $20 off the original cost set when the unit was launched two weeks ago. That includes a $50 mail-in-rebate which requires you to purchase T-Mobile's unlimited data plan for smartphones with web and IM or the unlimited plan with just the web.
