Survey says: Apple device users are excited about the Apple iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil
Coupon and deals app Retale surveyed more than 500 users of Apple products to gauge their excitement about the Apple iPad Pro. The 12.9-inch slate is expected to launch on November 11th. According to the results, 75% of those participating in the survey, are eagerly awaiting the release of the large-screened slate. 68% of them want to be first in line to try the Apple Pencil. This result probably has Steve Jobs spinning in his grave. The late Apple co-founder was notoriously opposed to the use of a stylus on Apple products.

Answering more general questions, this group of Apple product users like to test out electronics in the store before making a purchase. 87% said that they want to play with a product before opening up their wallet or purse. And 59% of those surveyed still prefer to buy something the old-fashioned way; that is, inside a store rather than through the internet.

The Apple iPad Pro will be priced starting at $799 for the 32GB Wi-Fi only model. $949 will get you the Wi-Fi only 128GB version of the slate. The only cellular enabled model, the 128GB Wi-Fi+ LTE iPad Pro, will carry a $1079 price tag. The Apple Pencil is priced at $99, and $169 will allow you to take home the Smart Keyboard.

Nope - sheep.

Duh. Most of them will be excited even if apple made a 2000$ garbage bin. Not to say that iPad pro or any apple product is bad. Just sarong that this survey is pretty useless given the present state of apple users.

You're thinking of the Mac Pro, and actually that's $3000! (Although you may have to hollow it out before you can store trash in it.)

Yeah, it's just according to what Steeve Jobs said: "good artists copy, great artists steal" *iCrap!!!*

Good quote. Apple was supposed to be innovative. They could've gone steps further with the pen/stylus adding more features. But nope. They just copied the competition and ran out of ideas.

There is lots to like about Apple products. I was just trying to be a bit of a smart a$$ regarding the pencil. Cheers.

It's good to know that random strangers in the world that spend their hard earned money on what they want really affects you personally. Every fandroid seems to be personally punched in the face every time an apple fan enjoys using their apple product. You make fun of apple users while leaving such a great and meaningful comment, wow Android users are the greatest people there are, you're the benchmark for humanity when it comes to kindness and all because you use Android.

Well said Zylam. I think the pencil is hit and miss: HIT it's a great device for pro's and would have been with the tag price of it worked universally throughout all iOS devices and MISS it doesn't work on my iPad/iPhone otherwise it would have been a buy for me. So far Samsung HIT home run WITH NOTE 4 and 5. The latency is nearly perfect and it comes with device. Apple needs to copy that concept or license it from Samsun if its patented.

And I'll expect you to say the same thing to anyone else who bashes people for their use of a different product. There are just as many Apple and Microsoft users who bash products that aren't what they use as well. Don't pretend like it's isolated to Android users, there are asshats in every camp.

WRONG! I'm a tech fan, I am all for buying whatever you want, after all it's YORU money. But that doesn't mean you are making a sensible purchase. But let me be real and honest, we all by senseless products here and there. I've bought some. My Note Pro 12.2 was one of them. I had a car I was very happy with, I went in for routine scheduled maintenance and I let them talk me into buying a newer model for about the same price and even though I like it, it was a senseless purchase because I didn't need it and I was 50% done paying for the previous. What I hate though is they buy them and then try to pawn them off as being better than other options. They just aren't. The ipad Pro. Apple had how many year to watch other tablets since the original iPad? 5 years and counting. yet 5 years later, their new bigger tablet offers nothing we haven't been able to do already. Then its priced to high. $1000 for a tablet that is hampered by ARM is stupid. Like I said, I bought the Note pro and that was a senseless useless ignorant purchase on my part and I should have known better and after I got it, I tried to deal with it when I should have just sent it back. Now I'm stuck and I have buyers remorse. NEVER AGAIN! No one wants the ipad either and its new, still has I dont see many buying a Pro. Just because you may have the jack to buy stuff, doesn't make it a smart buy. We all do senseless buying, but there comes a point where senseless isn't the right word. Considering the cost of the iPad Pro, a Windows PC(Tablet) like a Surface 3/4, or the latest tablets from Dell and Lenovo would be better. I need something more than Angry Birds and movies.

Not Apple users but Apple fans (most if not all of them). There is a difference between their fans and their product users, that being that the former are usually a band of hypocrites and the latter are average people. The hypocrisy is what people make fun of Apple fans for and they should. That on top of fact they will literally parrot Apple's marketing BS back verbatim as if it is God's words if also laughable. That is all. The rest of the Apple user base is fine.

They did...that last Mac pro was exactly that. I wonder how many did they sell. I'm not saying it wasn't a nice computer. But it was a garbage

They want to try it because Apple copied Samsung again. Can't let Samsung Note Pro owners have all the fun I guess.

oh, so NOT true. They copied Microsoft pen. Doesn't really matter anyway. I LOVE Apple anything so much. i'll buy it even if it doesn't work. I like to carry around my old iPad that is broken...just because it has an Apple on it so people will think i'm really hip and cool. i pretend i'm reading email and creating documents and building websites, doing full scale Photoshop as well as other engineering feats! I'm SO COOL! Please, don't bother me with this trivia. When they come out with a 25" ipad...i'll buy it, cause there's nobody else out there that has one....with an Apple on it.

I'm confused I've never seen this survey at all where I could say I'm not excited. It's as if Apple takes 10 people from their company and ask, are you excited. Then make an article about how majority are excited.

75% I can't wait for it to come out, 68% I will be first in line to try it out. Okay it might be true so is, 99.98% I don't need it (can not afford) and 0.02% will actually buy it and rarely use it.

When I first bought my Note Pro, I used it straight for about 10 days. Now I pick it up after 4 months about once every 7 days. I bought it because I sold my Note (phone) and went to the S, but I still needed a Note and when I go off-site to work, it did come in handy for what I needed it for. But I stopped taking it with me mostly because of its size. It is mobile, but hardly portable. I idnt even liek carry a 10" tablet that much when I had the Tab S, but I liked it better, but I needed a real pen. I bought extra pens from WACOM and I do liek using it. I do draw, but not as much as I use too. It comes in handy when I want to draw which is rare. I was hoping getting the tablet would encourage me to draw more. IT DIDNT. I wouldnt feel so bad if I had bought it on eBay for $400. Instead I bought it for $800 through VZW because i want it to be cellular and I am having buyers remorse. I am trying to save people from making the same stupid mistake I did. The ipad Pro doesn't have anything over the iPad Air 2 other than size and all the latest features of iOS9, which arent a big deal.
