Microsoft reportedly will price the Surface Pro 6 the same as it did last year's model
A few days ago, we showed you some leaked images of the Surface Pro 6. Outside of some more rounded corners, the tablet expected to be unveiled by Microsoft on October 2nd will look very much like the Surface Pro (2017). With that in mind, it should be no surprise that a tweet from tipster Roland Quandt says that we should expect the Surface Pro 6 to be priced the same as last year's model.

That means that the Surface Pro 6 should start at $799 and up. Quandt says that the device will feature updated hardware, which we hope is more than just the addition of the aforementioned rounded corners. There is talk of a new black color option and updated processors. We could see a major redesign of the Surface Pro next year.

In the meantime, keep checking in for late breaking leaks and rumors related to Tuesday's unveiling. And once the Surface Pro 6 is introduced, we will pass along the specs, pricing and availability of the latest Windows 10 flavored Surface slate. Stay tuned.

That’ll justify the 4GB RAM.

Adore my Surface but the writing apps are horrible on the Windows Store. But I can finally start calling my Surface Pro 2017 the Surface Pro 5 since MS has returned to a sane numbering system. Happy not much has changed LOL, would have hurt a little inside if the thing was radically different and shipped with a 1050ti or something! Also MS are smart, they always wait a year to update the chips and in turn are a gen behind, probably gives them a decent profit margin.

They are using last gen. not because of higher profit margin, but because their development cycle is that slow. Same reason why Apple released 1 or 2 gen. old device before.

the battery would literally die in an instant with a 1050ti imo lol there's a reason surface book has the gpu in the keyboard.

Same price but will they be upping the spec for that price? I had a Surface Pro 2 that had 4gb ram and 128gb SDD. I'd be disappointed if the Surface Pro 6 had 4gb of ram and 128gb HDD.
