Super Mario Run for iOS gets new playable characters, tons of new content
Nintendo pledged to bring its Super Mario Run game to Android in March, and the Japanese company has delivered on that promise. The game is now available for download via Google Play Store, and you'll be able to play the first three stages for free.

In the meantime, the iOS version got a consistent update that brings lots new game features and improvements. Super Mario Run 2.0.0 comes with new playable characters, new buildings, and enhanced tutorial.

The “new playable characters” are in fact just one that you can have in four different colors. Super Mario Run now allows players to get Yoshis of different colors. Whenever you play Toad Rally with a Yoshi of a particular color, you will receive more Toads of the same color.

Nintendo made a larger part of the game free to play. You can now play Bowser's Challenge, but if you clear it, you can unlock the previously locked course 1-4.

The developers also promised to add new buildings in an upcoming event. Furthermore, the Easy More can now be selected before starting a course. Some adjustments to the appearance rates of different colored Toads in Toad Rally have been adjusted.

Thanks to the latest update, players will be able to get Rally Tickets in the Bonus Game House much easier. Other changes and improvements have been implemented as well, including enhancements to “How to Play.”
