Sprint will give you a $200 prepaid card for each line you switch
US carrier Sprint has an offer to start the new year with. The operator will give a family of four $800 if they decide to take up Sprint's Unlimited Data, Talk, and Text plan. This means that every customer who switched to Sprint and signed up for said plan will get a $200 Visa prepaid card for each line. The carrier believes customers can save more money when compared to a Verizon or AT&T subscription, and do so without worry of overage charges.

The deal works for existing customers also. If you are a Sprint subscriber and switch a number from another carrier to an existing account, you can get $200, or $100 for each new line added to your account (unless it's a 50% off plan).

Getting on board is easy. Turn in an eligible phone in the Sprint store, register online within 30 days of activation, and receive your prepaid card within 6 weeks.

Remind me one more time, newer LTE phones on sprint still don't use Sim cards right? This seems pretty sweet, but if I'm going to be with sprint and switch after 6 weeks I'd want the phones I get through sprint to have Sim card slots so I can switch back and forth.

If you want to be able to switch back and fourth, stick with GSM carriers and pay cash for unlocked off contract phones. Sprint uses sim cards strictly for LTE only, not for voice and other forms of data connections.

I've only used unlocked, carrier-free phones for the past 5 years; that's not what am asking, I guess you've answered my question indirectly, so thanks anyway.

Don't believe one word Sprint tells you. I was told I would get $600 per line that I switched, which was two and was later told "up to". I mailed them two galaxy 6 phones and got no where near that. I was told activation would be waived and price would be under &100 with tax for both lines. Now at $199......I would say that was a lie. There customer service and service is absolutely awful. From day one Sprint has lied and continue this practice. My year will be up next may, but trust me, I'm going to be out before that. Do you hear me now.
