A new leak has sprung up in China, revealing information about two new handsets coming out of Xiaomi's camp. There is now speculation that the high-flying smartphone manufacturer is prepping not one, but two versions of its flagship phone. The Xiaomi Mi 5 and the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus are both expected to be unveiled in July.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch screen with a 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 810 CPU under the hood. 3GB or 4GB of RAM is onboard with a 16MP rear camera included. The phone will be powered by a 3000mAh battery and the handset could be equipped with a fingerprint scanner.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus will include a larger 6-inch bezel-less screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The phone will probably be driven by the same Snapdragon 810 CPU that powers the Mi 5, and there will be 4GB of RAM inside. The Mi 5 Plus will have a 16MP rear camera featuring OIS. The rest of the specs are unknown for now.

As we get closer to the expected unveiling in July, we should find out more information about both models including pricing and availability
