Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 springs to a Vodafone UK release
The long winter may have already gotten to some people by not following their New Year’s resolution, but fortunately there is something far bigger to look forward to this spring. Powerhouse Android phones seem to be all the rage right now – and the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 looks to dethrone some of the current contenders out there. Although pricing or specific dates have not been formally announced, the X10 is looking to land on Vodafone UK in time for April; something cheery we’re sure to look forward to. In addition to other scheduled releases for Japan and Germany, this makes for a clear indication for a simultaneous global launch for the highly anticipated flagship Android handset from Sony Ericsson. They really need to act quickly because there’s already some other monstrous phones out there looking to take a piece out of the X10’s majestic foray into Android.

I wonder if this will be coming state side to TMO or At&t? Seems like it takes SE a long time to release these devices. 6 months ago I was really excited about it. Now, so many other phones are set to come out that this one seems to have lost some of that luster to me.

There will definately be an AWS version but Tmo has yet say they'll be getting it. There will also be a version that'll work with AT&T's 3G bands, but they might not pick up this device either. With all the talk of 2.1, the X10 is looking less and less desireable. If it's taking them this long to optimize their UX for Donut, think of how long it'll take them to optimize their UX for the next major update.
