Some of the best horror games for iPhone and Android (2016): Keep calm and don't drop your phone

There's something alluring about the thrilling experience of a well-made, tense horror movie or game. The frantic experience of feeling like we are in some sort of danger, combined with an enchanting world and / or story that touches on — or delves into — the supernatural, all in the safety of our own couch is sometimes an irresistible one. You may be the most hardcore horror player, or you may be a scaredy cat, for each of us, playing a little dark survivor game, or one with a constantly thick, heavy, and creepy atmosphere is sometimes exactly the thrill we need right now.

Well, with the evolution of mobile technologies, and the fact that horror titles usually rely on player controls not being all that great, getting the horror experience in your pocket is now easier than ever. In fact, the app stores are sprawling with Slenderman clones and Amnesia-like survivors. But walking through black halls with nothing but a flashlight is not the only thing that the genre has to offer. So we dug through the app stores, hunting for quality scary games that have come out for Android and iOS in the past year. Check them out below!

I am surprised that Lost Within and Forgotten Memories are not in Google Play Store for Android. Android has just as powerful graphics abilities to play those games.
