Some iOS users unable to access the App Store or iTunes (UPDATE)
UPDATE: As of 5:30pm EST, it appears that the issue that prevented some iOS users from connecting to the App Store and iTunes has been resolved. If this is not the case and you are still having problems, drop us a note in the comments section.

Having trouble accessing the Apple App Store or iTunes at the moment? You're not alone. Apple's System Status page shows that as we move close to the end of the business day on the East Coast, the App Store and iTunes are not working for all users. Based on the timeline provided by Apple, the problem started at about 3:30pm EST, and has gone on for 90 minutes as we write this.

Some iOS users have reportedly been complaining about the inability to install apps and app updates. Apple today released iOS 10.2, but we can't see how this outage would be related to the dissemination of the latest iOS build.

If you're having problems connecting to the App Store or iTunes, feel free to blow off some steam by posting a comment in the box below. Or, you can quietly wile away the time by doing something constructive; keep checking in right here for the latest on this situation. As soon as service is restored to all, we will let you know right away.
