Some Apple Stores to open at 8AM on Black Friday

According to those with knowledge of Apple's plans, some of the the tech giant's brick and mortar stores will open on 8AM on the morning of Black Friday. Last year, Apple's Black Friday promotions began at 12:01AM November 29th, and ran for the entire day. In 2011, the stores were open at 4AM. A survey of Apple Stores from sea to shining sea, reveals that many plan on opening between 8AM and 9AM this year, while several locations plan on opening at regular business hours. Black Friday is on November 28th this year.
In the coming weeks, Apple will be posting the complete list of Black Friday store openings on the Apple Retail web site. Last year, Apple gave out different rewards to Black Friday shoppers, depending on the country. In 2013, stores in the U.S. and Australia handed out gift cards to early bird holiday shoppers. Those who visited European based Apple Stores for Black Friday last year, received discounts on hardware.
