So, what do you think of the Galaxy S8 and S8+?

It’s been a while since we’ve had such a big device launch as the Samsung Galaxy S8’s. And for good reason – the Korean giant’s new flagship pair is bigger and better, improving on its predecessors in almost every way. But that’s just our opinion, and we'd also like to hear what you think. Let’s hear your opinions – would you buy the Galaxy S8 or S8+?

Perhaps the biggest new feature of the two phones – both literally and figuratively – is their screens. Samsung has doubled down on its newfound love for curved screens, this time even going as far as curving the corners as well as the edges for aesthetic reasons.

But it’s not just that: the S8’s debut also saw the birth of a new Samsung product – Bixby. Samsung is betting big on AI, though from what we’ve seen so far, there’s still a lot to be desired in this regard.

There’s also the upgraded internals – the S8 runs on a two completely new chipsets (the Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 8895, depending on your region), both of which promise better performance with less power consumption.

Still, we want to hear your opinions on the matter, so tell us: do you think you'll be buying the Galaxy S8 or S8+?

Are you getting the Galaxy S8 or S8+?

Yes, I’m buying the S8
Yep, I’m getting the S8+
No, my hands are too small for either
I'm still not sure yet

Still not a fan of the FP sensor placement, back sucks, and off-center is ridiculous. I'll survive with it until Note 8 arrives.

On the NOte 8 the FPS if it has one will be in the same place. Though I am hoping they will have worked out the under the screen FPS by then.

I don't see what all the excitement is about. It's literally an expanded S7 Edge

Maybe a shrunken S7 Edge would excite you more?

Right? Why don't people remember that the S7 Edge had no home button...wait, what?

Phonearena - Your poll sucks. Where is the clear cut "NO" selection? What is wrong with you guys? you guys need to step up your game on these polls because they consistenly suck. My goodness you guys need some serious help. Not only do your polls suck, your servers suck. Not only do your polls and servers suck, your comment system sucks. STEP UP YOUR GAME GUYS.

That.......I agree on completely. Even the ads system sucks. Why can't we have a simple no section, instead of 'small hands'? Instead of always making simple things cheesier and making me feel like Donald Trump??

You suck even worse!!! Samsung can pay big buck for advertisement. What can you offer? Get a life.

AllFanboys- 100% agree with you. PA, and their polls, are biased and a joke. They're even removing posts calling them out for it. The small hands insult was also pathetic.

Well, no, but not because of my hands. No because I'm waiting for the Note 8, iPhone 7s/8, and Pixel 2...

Or No because I prefer another phone that is out there?

More like, "Why the heck would I buy another glass phone when there are other more durable ones on the market?"

Im confused, in the presentation they said the S8 was the first mobile device certified for HDR or something along the lines of that, doesnt the G6 have full HDR support(Dolby vision, all that) as well?

While it does look much better than it did in leaks I'm waiting for comprehensive battery life tests and to see the phone in person. If those pan out well I'm torn between the Black and Violet S8. Otherwise, I'll look elsewhere till the Note8

Dunno, good step in right direction, but I wonder how it will deal with the issue of people with large hands, I have to have a case (Spigen Case Neo Hybrid) on my S7 edge to avoid accidental input because there simply isn't enough room for my fingers to hold it without something being accidentally touched, I feel this would be the same here, is that 'bad' well, I believe in having a case anyway so generally no, but even so, dunno about this reduced bezel thing, but at the very least its what many (regardless of brand) have been wanting it seems, reducing bezel.

Do the people who voted no, my hands are too small for either, realize the S8 even with a 5.8inch screen is the same size as the S7 with its 5.1incher?

Do you realize the vertical length of the screen itself is significantly larger on the S8? The device itself could shrink entirely but people with smaller hands could still be affected due to the large screen size coupled with the 18:9 aspect ratio.

Do you realise there's no other way to say NO in the poll?

Then they need to put multiple no options then. they gave multiple yes options and the always undecide

The height matters a lot too. There's no way I would be able to use the s8 with one hand. I can try but I'll have to shuffle the phone around in my hand to reach the top.

Lovely design, wrong OS.

I really like what Samsung did with the S8, it's a powerhouse and brings a ton of heat to the competition. My eyes are on that S8 + Would be awesome if it launched with 7.1.1 out the box
