Samsung's screenshot of shame surfaces, borrowed from.. an iPhone
In the midst of the Apple Samsung epic legal battle, here’s a little piece of evidence that might reveal a lot about the way things are done at the two companies. What you see on the right is an image of the Samsung Galaxy Player 50 taken from Samsung’s website. What you see right next to it, is the where it’s coming from - the iPhone.

The screenshot was taken back in 2008 by Laura Scott, but it wasn’t just directly copied - it was actually photoshopped by Samsung to show the Android status bar in the upper part of the screen.

Were the Koreans really in that much of a hurry that they couldn’t take a screenshot of the Maps application for Android?

This just puzzles us as pointless copying, but is also uncomfortably revealing about the inner workings going on at both companies. Going back in time, we'd see that the Apple lawsuit stated that Samsung is "slavishly copying" from its products. What are your thoughts after seeing this?
