Samsung turns to Vogue to promote its Galaxy S5 and Gear wearables, the results are pretty hot

Samsung recently collaborated with fashion magazine Vogue, organizing a photo shoot featuring the Galaxy S5 smartphone, the Gear 2 and Gear Fit wearables, and English model Eliza Cummings.

The photo shoot’s main purpose was to “present the harmony between technology and fashion.” In the words of Yuri Jung (Senior Manager of Mobile Communications, Launching Marketing Group at Samsung Electronics), the whole experience “shows the effort of establishing the shift of Samsung as the brand of smart, that brings technology innovation, to the brand of cool that appeals to the consumers emotionally.”

While we don’t know if Samsung’s coolness will be significantly boosted after all this, we have to agree that some of the photos came out great. Though, that doesn’t necessarily means that people who see them will go out to the nearest store and spend their cash on Samsung gadgets. Anyway, Vogue readers in 11 countries will find 6 pages full of these photos in this month’s issue of the magazine. Moreover, some photos will be "available pretty much everywhere, including retail shops around the world." Well, it's certainly good to have huge marketing budgets, isn't it?
