Samsung shows us how to customize the Gear S2 Classic with traditional watch bands
Available to order in the US since early October, Samsung's Tizen-based Gear S2 Classic is one of the most expensive smartwatches currently on the market: at $349, the Gear S2 Classic costs as much as an Apple Watch (the cheapest Apple Watch model that you can get, but still).

The difference between the Gear S2 Classic and the regular Gear S2 (which costs $299) is mainly related to the devices' design. However, the Gear S2 Classic has an advantage over the regular Gear S2: it can be used with traditional watch bands. More exactly, you can attach any band to it, as long as it's a 20 mm one.

As you can see in the promo video that's embedded below, it's quite easy to change watch bands on the Gear S2 Classic (thus changing its aspect), even if you want to use a band from an analog watch.

What do you think of the Samsung Gear S2 Classic? Do you prefer it over the regular Gear S2? Check out our Gear S2 Classic vs. Gear S2 post if you're not sure yet.

This is going to sell better than all previous gear versions. Also will outsell android wear watches too. The rotating bezel is a unique selling point plus efficiency of Tizen OS.

Would like to see a pic of a gear s2 classic with a black metal band attached. Anybody has already one?

I am still waiting to buy the classic as well, I have the regular gear s2, but the proprietary Samsung band thing is killing me. So I might return the regular and go towards the classic after all.

I have the sport... I can't find anywhere to actually buy different straps!

I really like the Classic. I tried on the Gear S2 in Best Buy yesterday and it fits me great. I now know the Classic will as well. I think this is what I want for Christmas.

Classic has a slightly smaller feel to it actually. If the sport fit good, the Classic will be perfect.

I can't decide if I want to keep the sport just for the gym and disc golf.

I am keeping both but apparently you can't have multiple gears paired like Android wear. So I have to shelf one when I use the other. That sucks.

If I decide to get the classic it will probably be closer to the holidays. But if I decide I may return the sport to get the classic.
