Samsung Galaxy NotePRO: the best alternatives

Samsung argues that its newly-announced 12" stylus-wielding NotePRO with extremely high resolution display offers the ultimate in productivity, and there is nothing like it around at the moment. We can't argue much with the last point, as this is the largest member of the Note family, introducing Samsung to the world of 12" slates - one of the few screen diagonals it hadn't covered until now.

While the new TabPRO 8.4, 10.1 and 12.2 slates might seem like Samsung is just throwing screen sizes at the wall to see what sticks with people, the NotePRO is one of a kind, thanks to its S Pen stylus, though as far as alternatives go you can dig up some worthy opponents in the smorgasbord of tablets, hybrids and convertibles coming our way these days.
