Samsung Galaxy Note II likely coming to T-Mobile

Samsung Galaxy Note II likely coming to T-Mobile
Launching the Samsung Galaxy Note only weeks prior to the unveiling of its successor was not the wisest decision T-Mobile could come up with. No wonder that the device now appears to have been discontinued already. However, the carrier has not given up the idea of having a phablet on its lineup.

Evidence discovered by Sammobile suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note II is coming to T-Mobilebearing a model name SGH-T889. As far as its hardware configuration is concerned, the handset would be no different from its international model, powered by a quad-core Exynos processor and sporting a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display. Just don't expect seeing any LTE connectivity features on board as the device will run on the T-Mobile HSPA+ network. On the software side, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will come pre-installed, early builds of which are currently being tested.

Unfortunately, there is no word regarding a release date for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note II, although an announcement may not be far off since the device is scheduled to launch internationally in October. Out of the other major U.S. carriers, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is expected to land on AT&T and Verizon.
