Samsung Galaxy C5 full renders in more colors leaked. Want to bet there is a pink one?

Yesterday, we saw renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy C5 in beautiful gold leak out in their full glory. The new Galaxy C line is expected to co-exist with the Galaxy A in the midrange segment, with the C having slightly better hardware specs at slightly higher price points. Another major difference we see between the A and the C families is that the latter has a full metal back, instead of slippery, fingerprint-attracting glass. We will see what else is special about the new devices and how Samsung plans to sell them without saturating the market with similar devices (again).

So, today, we get to see the C5 in three new colors – silver, grey, and... drum roll, please — pink gold! The beautiful handset you see below is said to rock a 5.2-inch, 1080x1920 Super AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC, the very generous 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage, and 16 MP / 8 MP sensors on the main / selfie cameras respectively. Of course, it'll come with Android 6.0.1, skinned with Samsung's proprietary UI on top.

When are we going to get some official info on the Galaxy C5? Sources say that the big unveiling will happen tomorrow. So, the wait could be just about over!

Pretty enough, nothing exciting or original but nothing offensive either...

At this point, I think we've seen every possible cosmetic change for this style of phone. Unless you do something really off the chart, phones are going to change much. I thing the last big change was curving the glass. Unless you make an oval shaped phone, there is really not much left.

Yup, would be great if someone could come up with something new and interesting but we've hit the form factor that "works". If anything too radical comes out it'll bomb due to being too different... Ah well - antenna lines, bezels and camera positions are probably all the distinguishing features we'll be able to talk about for the foreseeable future!

It's bland, like an iPhone, too much like an iPhone. I loved that the Alpha, S6, Note5 all had some contours and style to the body. Why lose that design language to copy all of the other clones. I'm disappointed to see this lack of even the smallest creativity when it comes to style.

No it doesn't. Looks better actually. Not the same tired design every year. Might wanna have your peepers checked.

Agreed. I stand up for tangible variations in aesthetics that represent original design even if they appear, at first glance, to be copies to the casual observer. But this IMHO is a copy, and worse yet, it's a copy of something that lacked any significant design language to begin with. When a child can roll play-dough, press it flat and replicate your design, I fail to see how you have created a unique design worthy of trade dress protection.

Wow, a pink Samsung smartphone ? You mean, like the Note 5, Note 4, Note 3, Note 2, S6 Edge+, S5, S4, S3 and S2 (if you only consider flagships) ? They can't help copying everything Apple does...

So what sachouba! Tell us something we dont already know. And who doesn't copy? However, stop copying what others say already!

The front looks like a Samsung phone, sides look like an iPhone and the back looks like a mix of HTC and huawei

Why are they calling it pink gold now ,it is rose gold and Samsung had rose gold way before iphone. But then again the iphone is not rose gold, it is pink.

Can certainly do without the line extending to the camera. Makes it look too much like an HTC One from the back.
