Radio Shack memo blames AT&T for a delay in the LG Thrill 4G to August 21st
A leaked internal memo from Radio Shack reveals that the 3D enabled LG Thrill 4G has been delayed. The launch date has been pushed back from August 7th to August 21st. As a result, the retailer is extending the pre-order period until August 15th. To reserve the device, you need to purchase a $50 gift card from Radio Shack.

The memo tells reps how they should inform those who have pre-ordered the phone. According to the memo, those who reserved a unit should be called and told that the phone's launch date has been pushed back from August 7th to August 21st because of a launch delay from AT&T. Those who have already purchased a $50 gift card to pre-order the phone will be able to pick it up on the new launch date. Information for store personnel is printed on the memo, telling them to go online and print out new signs to replace the ones with the old launch date.

Will anyone planning on buying the LG Thrill 4G change their mind because of the extra two weeks before launch? Does it make prospective purchasers of the 3D enabled model worried that there might be a major problem with the device?
