RIM giving away BlackBerry PlayBook to Android Developers
Are you an Android app developer who has been dying for a free BlackBerry PlayBook? RIM is willing to make your dreams come true. All you need to do is to submit your re-packaged Android app for use on the BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 update. Because of the PlayBook's ability to run Android apps, developers should have no problem getting their work running on BlackBerry. Submit your app before February 6th to get it listed on BlackBerry App World following the PlayBook 2.0 update. To receive the PlayBook, apps must be submitted by February 13th. The BlackBerry PlayBook 2.0 update has been rumored to arrive on February 17th.

RIM has three different methods to make sure that your Android app is ready for PlayBook. If your app references the green robot, changing the APK into the BAR 'Berry format will not do the job. You might have to change a few lines of code to remove any Android reference, but hey, that is a small price to pay for a free BlackBerry PlayBook. To start this journey of a thousand steps, head to the sourcelink.
