Would you pay that much for an iPhone that looks the same every year and brings no improvements, the same OS with exactly the same outdated looks?

True true. People are saying ohhh it's just a dual core.. oh it's just 4.5 inch screen. ohhh it's so thick.. ohhh it's too big. But the thing they forgot is that, this is the most innovative phone yet. Anyone can argue with me. Bite me. A screen that's so sensitive that it's like a combination of resistive and capacitive touchscreen. A camera that's so innovative that beats almost all 8MP camera of flagship phones. A design that beats every flagship phone(lol iPhone). A display that beats all flagship phones in terms of brightness and outdoor performance. A undeniably best build quality. 4G LTE, NFC. And oh God, wireless charging!

I agree, except the "almost all 8MP camera of flagship phones". Not "almost all", just "all". That said, these are the European prices. The U.S. full retail prices are going to be lower, probably around $700 AT MOST for the 920, and $550-600 for the 820 (just my guess)

yes...all the sick apple fanboyss will be willing to pay off even by selling their kidneys, for probably the same looking i phone, with one new feature in one year!! i wonder wat apple does for the entire year, when it brings only one phone in one year!!! i mean according to this ratio, their phone should be a killer in every department!!! Nevertheless, sick people still find value in paying a lot of money for something which has no innovation and avoids competition by suing people!!!! Similar looking phone, same layout, everything similar, but an increased price nd ofcourse the hullaballoo!!! anything dat apple does is awesumm and anything else done by others is nonsense, isnt it???

I'm sure $800 is without carrier subsidies... Try buying a GSII or III without a contract and see how much you have to pay...

True true. 23nikki1 is being ridiculous saying you can buy a canon DSLR camera and a galaxy s2 for 800 bucks. You're kidding right? s2 is around $400-$500 off-contract. canon DSLR? Oh god, can you even buy a decent $300 DSLR? P&S maybe :))

19. 23nikki1 unregistered

I said another $100...That makes $900... Sii is around $400 in amazon...and basic canon dslr cam is around $500.Checkout amazon and then speak. Now who's ridiculous.

okay, as I checked.. s2=453USD cheapest canon DSLR=499USD I don't know, but that doesn't really sum up to 900USD. Unless, you don't know how to do math. :)) And, you're also being ridiculous saying that you'll just pay 800USD for a camera? Are you lost or blind or can't decipher a simple thought. Oh god, it's a phone with a good camera that no other smartphones with 8MP cam, can match. Again, it's the most innovative phone yet. and that's a fact. you!

$800 for 920? Maybe $200+ going to M$ Kitty for jailed OS. Essentially this phone is not worth anything above $600.00 Note2 is available on preorder in India for around $700 (INR 38500). So why would one buy this?

I agree

that is true... WP is not worth above $600 for now..but maybe on the time that they got 30% of shares in mobile OS they will be worthy for $700 or even up to $800 like the iPhone... but the pricing is ridiculous!!! they know that they still need to catch up and nokia need to make a comeback coz if these pricing is true, nokia is dead! even though that win8 and WP8 are now on the same kernel, they still need to convince that WP is worthy of a phone... so nokia need to make tablets with win8 now and hope to make a note/mini tablet with the size of 7" with WP8!!! coz i really think WP8 looks good with 7" that having win8 on that size!

because it's cooler and note 2 is same as note 1 just get note for cheaper price

well basically note 2 has new things than note1 (ot complementing it but just saying facts, and im not a crapsung fan) note2 has bigger screen ---5.5 vs 5.3 note 2 has quad core--but the LTE version might just get qualcomm dual core since exynos still dont support LTE chips.. note2 will have new s-pen thingy... note2 change its looks and looks like a s3 just to be careful for those dress patents again... note2 will have jelly bean on board... coz i think android updrades make the phone very laggy

ok maybe not really but there is more innovation in nokia 920

I know this is not the official price but if Nokia wants to compete with Android and IOS with Windows phone they have to price it competitively too .

you are so right!!! these phones are super expensive!! i think they wont buy these if these is the price!!! they should not forgot that WP still need to make an entrance and Nokia need a huge comeback because a lot of people dont care about them anymore!!

Wow I am into buying a Nokia 822 Windows 8 smart phone from "Verizon" but I think Nokia has to lower it's Prices some if they want to sell alot of high end and mid range smart phones.the 920 should sell for 650 to 700 and the 829 should sell for 550 to 600 dollars USA. when a smart phone sells above 700 dollars msot people will have to get it by a 2 year contract where the Carrier heavily substitizes the cost of the smart phone i love Nokia but i hate to say to say it the current price of the 920 and 820 may be too high for them to move alot of smart phones unless they are heavilt substitized by the carrier and some carrier do not like to do that. I hope Verizon still decides to sell the Nokia 822 which is said to be simular to 820 that will go to AT & T and other USA carriers
