Pictures of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leak less than one week before unveiling
In less than one week, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be official at last. And as is typical for such a high-profile handset, the closer we get to the unveiling date, the number of leaked photos increases exponentially. The eagerly awaited phablet will be made official on August 23rd during Samsung's next Unpacked event. Today, a number of new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 images have been discovered, including one picture of a Galaxy Note 8 dummy.

By now, you probably know by heart some of the phablet's specs. It will feature a rear-facing dual-camera set up, and the fingerprint scanner is placed on back. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+, the LED flash module is between the scanner and the camera lenses on the Galaxy Note 8. This should reduce the chance of a user blindly searching for the fingerprint scanner smudging the camera lenses by mistake. The Galaxy Note 8 will be powered by the Exynos 8995 chipset with the Snapdragon 835 deployed on U.S. bound units. 6GB of RAM will be inside along with 64GB of native storage.

Check out the latest images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 by clicking on the slideshow  below. And don't forget to circle August 23rd on your calendar!

I was hoping they'd ditch the heart rate monitor by now. It only makes the camera module look worse.

I use it many times, so it's good that it's there.

The Samsung reps are in FL getting to know the new beauty and beast so it was a given that it would be leaked somehow...

Not sure what it is exactly, but the back looks like it doesn't belong to a Samsung phone. From every other angle, the phone looks gorgeous! It's gonna be a beast.

Why can't leakers ever get good pictures? If they're not fuzzy, they're at weird angles with reflections all over the place so you can't really see anything.

This article is about your beloved ugly No 8. I'm afraid how soon it might blow up the first house this season...

IR blaster instead of this useless heart rate monitor...

24. AxelFoley unregistered

The HR moniter is also a shutter for the front facing camera. So, with at least 2 uses, I don't think "useless" is the best description. But , I see your point on the IR blaster.

What the point of an IR blaster? The only reasons I ever here from anybody is that you can use your phone as a remote which is stupid imo

52. AxelFoley unregistered

It can be used as a remote on any TV and a way to consolidate multiple remotes in one place But my guess is there were a lot of business owners/ bar owners, etc who complained about people changing channels.

Probably true. Personally I never used the IR at home.
