Non-Korean LG G2 models to get Android 4.4 KitKat by the end of March?

In an answer to an impatient user on Facebook, LG Italy said that the 4.4 KitKat update for the G2 is scheduled to arrive by the end of March. If that’s the case, G2 owners in other European regions will probably get the update at about the same time.
We don’t know if G2 users in the US should also expect to receive KitKat by the end of March, as American carriers have a tendency to push software updates a bit later than everyone else.
Earlier today, LG Saudi Arabia tweeted to inform fans that the G2 would get Android 4.4 KitKat at the end of January. However, the tweet has been pulled - which likely means the update won’t be ready this month after all.
It’s said that LG sold more than 3 million G2 smartphones around the world, so there are many users out there waiting to get rid of Jelly Bean. Here's hoping the wait won't be too long.

Well going by the number of G2s I'm seeing around me, I'm guessing the sales number could be more than 3 million. Once I got the AT&T G2, 5 of my friends bought it after being impressed. And one of them was a long time Apple fan, which is one of my biggest achievements to prevail logic and reasoning above brand value. Haha..

I am not sure why people are so interested in updates and how fast they will come out. I have a Verizon G2 and love it. I would be perfectly content with having the same exact software for the next two years. It doesn't lag or anything. On a side note, the Verizon model has built in wireless charging and It is awesome. If you want the phone and can go with Verizon, do it.
