New iPhone and iPad owners will get the iWork productivity suite for free
As you've probably noticed, the new iPhone announcements is underway, but just prior to the big stuff, Apple CEO Tim Cook has let us know that from now on, new iOS device owners will receive the iWork productivity suite of apps (Pages, Numbers and Keynote) plus iMovie and iPhoto for free! That's great news, considering the pretty steep price of Pages, Numbers and Keynote.

Sadly, current iPhone and iPad owners will not receive the iWork love, meaning that if you are an existing user and want to get any of Apple's productivity apps, you'll have to shell out the cool $9.99 for an app. Oh well, we guess most of us will be buying a new iPhone once the 5S and 5C hit the market, so it's not such big of a deal...
