Motorola makes it easier to switch to Motorola Moto X from Apple iPhone
If you have decided to swap out your Apple iPhone for a Motorola Moto X, the wholly owned Google subsidiary has developed a web tool to make it easier to migrate from Apple's iconic smartphone to the first Motorola handset built with input from Google. Motorola executive Punit Soni has introduced the new tool that allows you to migrate your contacts and calendar from the Apple iPhone to the Motorola Moto X.

The migration tool is available right on the Moto Maker. After you've built your custom Motorola Moto X, you will see an invitation to Migrate. Once you accept the invite, you select "I have an iPhone" and enter your AppleID and iCloud password. Hit Continue and Begin Transfer, sign in to your Google account and the migration will begin.

Making it easier to migrate from the iPhone to the Moto X could help Motorola and Google grab some business away from Apple.
