Motorola Assist and Motorola Connect are both now found in the Google Play Store
Motorola is beginning to move some of the features from its newer Motorola Android handsets to the Google Play Store where they can be downloaded by a small number of Motorola handsets. Take Motorola Assist. This is a feature that knows when you're driving and can't pick up a phone call or text message. Calls and texts are intercepted with a text message sent out to those trying to reach you. And now, Motorola allows you to create a personalized message to send back as an auto reply. In addition, text messages and incoming call information can be read aloud by your phone while you are driving. Other options allow you to silence your phone during meetings or when you're sleeping.

Also being added to the Google Play Store is Motorola Connect. This app lets you see from your Chrome browser who is calling your phone. You can also send and receive texts from the desktop browser as well. You need to install a special extension onto your Chrome browser which you can find by clicking on the sourcelink. It's a time saver when you're working on your desktop.

Both apps are supported on the Motorola Moto X, Motorola DROID Ultra, Motorola DROID Maxx and Motorola DROID Mini.
