Moto X4 with dual camera and 3,800 mAh battery could be announced on June 30

The Moto X4 is one of the three unannounced smartphones that could be unveiled later this month. We told you yesterday about the price of these handsets, which are known as Moto Z2 Force, Moto G5S Plus, and Moto X4.

Today, we have new information about the Moto X4, which is expected to be a mid-range Android smartphone that will cost around $325. It appears that Motorola will introduce the Moto X4 no later than June 30.

However, the smartphone is probably not going to make it to the market on the same day. Along with the announcement date, we've also learned that the Moto X4 will feature a glass design and dual-camera setup.

The rest of the information comes in line with previous reports claiming the Moto X4 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and will feature IP68 certification.

Also, Motorola will include a massive 3,800 mAh battery under the hood, along with a 5.5-inch display with full HD (1080p) resolution. Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 will be on board as well, along with USB Type-C support.

Motorola has already confirmed a launch event will be taking place in Brazil on June 21, but it is yet unclear what phone will be unveiled there.

Cheaper and better than Moto Z2 Play, Moto's lineup is getting confusing.

Banking on mods making a diff. Seems like they are terrible at market research

This phone is supposed to have a 5.2" screen, not 5.5"

The differentiation is in Moto Z style design, mods, and AMOLED display. The Moto X4 will likely have LCD (not an issue for me) and the standard stuff like 3.5mm port, typical speaker design instead of the svelte single earpiece/loudspeaker combined.

I'm. Getting so confused with Motorola which letter means what type of phone. They are releasing too many. Just have a low, mid & high end line up.

As confusing as it is... Its good to finally have a moto x, what I understand is that the Z line its the flagship line of the brand and the z play its the premium mid-range of the brand... so this leaves the moto x as the regular mid-range, hopefully the pricing information its right, because if so... this moto x4 its gonna be a huge sucess!

Actually, the slide said that the Moto X4 is supposed to be as premium as possible on the outside. The Moto Z line is their flagship line, mostly due to that signature design and the Moto mods. As far as a complete phone design is concerned, this should be Moto's best showing to date.

3,800mAh battery... Along with just Full HD, it should impress on the battery chart.

It's actually a 5.2" screen, the slide leak tells that info clearly

The price is not correct if Moto X4 has sd 660 on board. In my view, it has the price similar to moto z2 play or even pricier than moto Z2 play.It looks better than moto Z2 play if one dont wants moto mods.

Can't wait to see what the moto x4 finally looks like! If it's priced at $325 then it will be a good deal!
