Metrotube is a dedicated YouTube client for your Windows Phone handset
LazyTube, the popular YouTube client for Windows Phone, has just been treated to a major overhaul and brings forth a whole set of new features for its fans to enjoy. First things first, the app has been rebranded and is now known as Metrotube in the Windows Phone Marketplace. Furthermore, its interface has been rebuilt from the ground up and now looks a lot more Metro-ish, with its own live tiles and all the good stuff.

Besides watching clips of funny cats in both high and low quality, other things that you can do with Metrotube include accessing your subscriptions, commenting and rating videos, as well as sharing videos via Twitter, Facebook, SMS or email. On top of that, the next major Metrotube update is expected to bring along video uploading straight from your Windows Phone device.

If you have not tried Metrotube yet, the app is currently available for free without any pesky advertisements popping up, but the offer will be up for a limited time only. However, even if you miss the special, an ad-supported version is in the process of being approved and should show up in the Windows Phone Marketplace pretty soon.
