Leaked photos show assembled Apple iPhone Lite
We've seen pictures of what has been called the shell belonging to the low-cost Apple iPhone. The device, dubbed the Apple iPhone Lite, is expected to be shipped to emerging markets to compete with red-hot low priced phones like the Nokia Lumia 520. Now, we have a series of pictures originating from case manufacturer TACTUS that allegedly reveals an assembled model of the iPhone Lite.

Comparing the iPhone Lite to the Apple iPhone 5, we can see that Apple will keep a 4 inch screen on the cheaper version of the phone. We've seen different colored shells which means that buyers of the handset will have different options to choose from. According to the source behind the pictures, the volume and mute buttons on each unit will match the color of the shell. At 9mm thick, the iPhone Lite is 1.5mm thicker than the Apple iPhone 5, and is 120mm wide.

Check out the fully assembled Apple iPhone Lite by viewing the slideshow below.

Its full plastic even a child can tell you the s4 is not full plastic. As you can clearly see here it is metal between glass and a plastic back plate. http://hi-techallinone.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/samsung-galaxy-s4-base-macro.jpg

No matter what you guys say but S4 ----> The best smartphone till date and Samsung -----> The king of smartphones. Coming from an owner of S4 and Note 2.

"Coming from an owner of S4 and Note 2." Well golly, what reason should we have to believe you're opinion isn't biased?!

LMAOOOOO exactly. At least own one from each platform like I do. Ip5, and note2. I tried the s4, but felt the note was better

I thought you sold your Note and bought an S4? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.

No you're thinking of me Ted. I felt the note 2 was more complete.

They did a really good job at faking you out. The s4 is full plastic. Just took one apart yesterday. The bezel is faux metal. Even a child could figure that out. :)

What will they say next year when the s5 is sporting a full metal body?

I really really hope it doesn't. Metal in a phone is just a terrible idea. Poly-carbonate uni-body is where it's at. Now I just need to find a phone I like that has one :/

Difference between Samsung and Apple is that Apple is marketing this as a budget iphone so obviously it'll be made out of plastic while Samsung continues to use plastic for their flagship devices and aren't being marketed as budget phones.

Marketing it as budget but charging as a mid ranger may not be the smartest thing of the world. And Apple is going to lose a lot of brand recognition on the way with those iToys.

Will people wait in line for days to buy a plastic phone? I'm guessing yes for the first iteration, then when they realize there's really nothing spectacular about it, fascinations will die out and all will return to normal.
