LeEco Le 2S Pro supposedly breezes through AnTuTu with a score of 157,897

As we've seen with a number of China-based firms over the past few years, LeEco has recently decided to try and crack the lucrative U.S. market. Having set up its first office in Silicon Valley, its first port of call was, naturally, to take a swipe at Apple's apparent lack of innovation. Since then, there's been more talk of the company's big Stateside splash, and numerous leaks have alluded to some potentially exciting hardware. Per a newly leaked AnTuTu screenshot, the LeEco Le 2S Pro could be one to watch, particularly if the score of just under 158,000 is accurate.

From what we have gathered thus far, there will be a standard LeEco Le 2S, perhaps bundled with the Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The higher-end variant of the LeEco Le 2S — possibly the Pro model seen in today's AnTuTu leak — looks set to be blessed with Snapdragon 821 and up to 8 GB of RAM.

As for the design of this forthcoming handset family, LeEco has recently confirmed that an all-metal finish will be offered. This ties in with alleged snaps of the Le 2S, which showcase a slick-looking overall profile.

It's not yet known precisely when LeEco plans to roll out its the Le 2S line, but rumor suggests we should discover the finer details during the first week of September.

I quote: "pentium 2 can do... what?" A Pentium 2 can do a LOT of things, mate... Why, it can run Windows 95... It can run Quake 2... Resident Evil (Original Trilogy)... And... Solitaire, MineSweeper & FreeCell... P.S I used to have a Pentium II 233MHZ (Single Core, of course) with 128MB RAM and 16MB Nvidia TNT2 GPU... Ah! Good Memories... The reason you don't appreciate a Pentium II is because you were probably in you cradle back then... The days when a Pentium II 450MHZ was the FASTEST COMPUTER on the face of the earth (consumer level, of course)... Anyhow, in all seriousness, I doubt that a Snapdragon 820 even with all of its glory can score such a HIGH score... I'll believe it when I see it, cause it sounds a lot like a "Fairy Tale" & "Wishful Thinking"... S'Day... (Yeah, today is The Sigh Day which I'll celebrate in fine memories of Windows Phone 8.1 & Windows 10 Mobile...)

That Pentium can't even play a basic 720p H264 video. LOL! BTW my first PC was 486 DLC 33 mhz and it struggled with DOOM 1 :)

You must be fool. You guess that Pentium 2 at 233MHz or at 450MHz have better score than a Snapdragon 820 or 821, you must be sleeping and having dreams out of the reality. And don't forget that the Android 7.0 it's much better than Windows 95 or 98, or 2000 or even XP. The android has matured with the passing of the years an now is 64 bit OS better than these Windows OS that i quoted before. A Pentium 2 at 450MHz better than a Snapdragon 821, aaah, what laughable. As i know a Snapdragon 821 has at the level of a Core i7. A Snapdfragon 821 even gets to run Windows 10 desktop if necessary.

You seem to be clueless about performance of such chips. Otherwise u would have known these chips can easily destroy the pentium 2.

iPhone 7 is probably going to hit ~180,000. Not that Antutu matters.

Get that score without overclocking and using custom rom and kernel. On stock it's impossible and with overclocking even the supposed LeEco Le 2s would score higher

Is antutu really reliable anymore? I mean, I've used my friend's lousy Xiaomi to run it and it scored 150,000+

I agree with you. I doubt sometimes as it shows 85000 for my iPhone 5S and when it comes to performing iPhone 5S is like Shiiiit. Sometimes I think I should throw the useless device Apple has made and iSpees like it.

What is the best benchmark test? Or more specifically, what is the best benchmark for light users (no gaming/VR, No Netflix, just web browsing, Snapchat, Instagram, some Youtube)

web browsing benchmark? try google octane or mozilla kraken.. or try PCmark, it has web browsing and video playback benchmark.. (btw, any mid-ranger is fine for light user, lol...)

The best benchmarking test is real world usage.

I agree, but Android loses all the time to iOS in multi app switching...

Geekbench 4 is the only good low level CPU benchmark They made huge improvements from Geekbench 3 There's tons for GPU, e.g. GFXBench, 3DMark, ...

Meh, instead of just filling it over the top with specs, they should have done some proper spec balancing and thrown in a nice camera, or a better storage solution.

Benchmarks especially Antutu mean little when real life performance suck like the Note 7 compared to iPhone 6S

Not impressed with 8 cores...again Apple can do this using two cores. Since the 2S Pro are launched the same time frame as the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 will reach 185k. These are numbers based on A9X...

185K!!!!!!!!!! WTF In your dreams iSheep!!! OH yes its possible for iShiiit 17. Lol
