LG V30+ logo leaks out - this should be a 128 GB version of the V30

LG already confirmed the name of its next-generation V series smartphone - V30 - while also revealing various details about its features. According to a recent rumor, though, LG is also planning the release of an upgraded V30 alongside the regular model.

Not long ago, we heard that this upgraded V30 would be called V30 Plus. Now, thanks to Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), we can actually take a look at the logo of the handset - above - and see that its name is styled LG V30+.

The LG V30+ is expected to look just like the regular V30, while offering largely similar features. But the + model might be a bit better, as it's supposed to come with 128 GB of internal memory (instead of 64 GB) and Hi-Fi audio.

As a reminder, LG also released a G6 and a G6+, with the latter having 128 GB of internal memory and a Hi-Fi DAC (digital to analog converter) for superior audio quality  - unlike the normal G6, which comes without a Hi-Fi DAC, and offers just 32 GB of storage space (at least in the US).

While the LG V30+ might be officially released only in South Korea (LG's home country), the handset could be offered by third-party vendors in the US - as is the case with the LG G6+. We'll bring more details about the LG V30 and V30+ as soon as new official information arrives.

Update: According to Evan Blass, the Hi-Fi DAC mentioned above might be included on the global version of the V30, so the difference between this and the V30+ could be related to storage capacity only.
