Instagram adds two new options for Android and iOS users, Color and Fade

Instagram users on Android and iOS have a couple of new options at their fingertips in an effort to customize the images taken with the app. Fade allows you to soften the colors of an image. Color allows you to change the tint of the highlights and shadows of your picture. The colors that you can choose from include yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan or green.

A little change in the controls one way or the other can make a huge difference in the way a picture looks. The new options add a large number of possible choices for Instagram uses. The new Android version is 6.19.0 and the new iOS version is 6.10.0.

The update can be seen in the Google Play Store as soon as today (go to My apps in the Google Play Store if you already are an Instagram user). Those totin' an iOS device should see the update arrive in the App Store over the next several days.
