Simple trick allows you to use the Apple Pencil on an iPhone or older iPad

The Apple Pencil is a $99.00 accessory originally made for the Apple iPad Pro. It is also now compatible for the 6th generation Apple iPad (2018). So those with an iPhone or an older iPad don't get to experience the capabilities of the Apple Pencil. That is, unless they use a simple trick that will allow the accessory to work with any iOS device. That's right, follow the rules and you'll be able to sketch, take notes, mark up documents and more on your iPhone.

Ready to learn this hack? All you need to do is wrap slightly damp napkins around the Apple Pencil slightly above the tip. It is a simple hack that is illustrated on the video from iDeviceHelp that you can find at the top of this article. Apparently, the water helps the pencil make the necessary contact with the screen.

If you don't want to keep damp napkins with you at all times, perhaps this is knowledge you can keep in the back of your head and use it when needed. Of course, you will have to buy an Apple Pencil first.

You can even use some random branches with this trick. Just make sure it wrap everything till the tip, or use aluminium foil for tip for better slickness.

This article is hilarious. How stupid must be an Apple user, to use this $hit to work with? No words for stupidity in this world.

2018 iPad is about $325 - it’s comparable. Note 8 is under $500 new. If u really need a stylus there are $10 options.

OMG. Seriously. This is a hoax. The damp tissue is in contact with the screen which acts like your finger. Yeah, go risk your $99 Pencil with water. Same thing happened with people believing putting iPhones in microwave ovens for wireless charging. Just stupid. I can't believe PA actually even publish this.

Only thing consistent is your trolling. I don’t think anyone would care if you found a new website- honestly.

Or just buy any of the myriad of styluses out there for $5 or less which will work on any device.

This is the most ridiculous crap ever. Apple should’ve just made the pencil backwards compatible, and for the life of me, I don’t get why it doesn’t work with any iPhones. As Brian Tong would say: this is a bad apple. All these large screen phones, and no true multitasking (only this fast app switching stuff). No pencil support, picture in picture either. Apple has gotta stop this trickle feeding of features. Hope the 6.5 is what it should be, cause the Note 9 will mos def be what it should be. A Trillion dollar company should give us trillion dollar features. C’mon Apple, hook it up.
