Honor Holly 4 gets released in Europe as Honor 6A Pro

Huawei is one of those companies that likes to confuse customers with its portfolio. When it's not launching the same device worldwide, but using different names, Huawei makes some of its smartphones available in select markets and introduces variations of that device in other regions, again, under different names.

The same goes for the Honor Holly 4 which made its debut in India months ago. Initially introduced in China as Honor 6A, the smartphone is now available for purchase in Italy as Honor 6A Pro.

If you live in Europe, then you might have heard about the Honor 6A already, since the device was officially launched in Germany this summer. However, the new model comes with one component that Honor believes is worthy to be named a “Pro” product – fingerprint sensor.

The original Honor 6A does not feature a fingerprint sensor like the Honor 6A Pro, but other than that, these two smartphones are the same specs-wise.

Since it's likely to be introduced by other European carriers in the coming weeks, here are a couple of details about the Honor 6A Pro. First off, this is a mid-end device that packs an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Also, Honor's phone sports a 5-inch display with HD (720p) resolution, a 13-megapixel camera, and a secondary 5-megapixel selfie snapper. Finally, Honor 6A Pro runs Android Nougat and is powered by a decent 3,020 mAh battery.

It looks like a €150-€200 phone, but the price hasn't been confirmed yet. Italian carrier Three offers the Honor 6A Pro on contract for as low as €5 per month and €49 upfront.
