HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S official hands-on and promo videos surface
The HTC Windows Phone 8X and 8S have just been officially released and they are all about simplicity and more great colors coming to the Windows Phone arena. Nokia might have started it, but with Microsoft iterating the idea of colors and tiles in its Surface lineup of tablets, we can’t really blame HTC for going the same route.

Moreover, the Taiwanese phone maker has done so brilliantly with a refined design in light and not too thick body with nice rounded edges.

While HTC has subtly complimented Microsoft for its work on Windows Phone and explained how it was inspired by the simple colors of the tiles, the Windows Phone team in turn has posted the first official video hands of the HTC 8X and HTC 8S explaining the benefits of having Beats Audio and the great camera on the 8X.

How is Nokia going to feel about this promo for HTC’s new devices from Microsoft? The Finns have already shown some swagger saying HTC is only “tactically re-branding,” not innovating. Check out the videos below and let us know: what do you think?

I like both 920 and 8X, but I don't find any similarity design like samsung did to apple products.

Problem here is that all they do is talk about the body, color and shape of the phone and never show you its functionality which leads me to believe windows 8 is not yet ready and won't be ready till sometime late this quarter. Once release carrier testing will have to be done for another two or so months.

Microsoft just signed off on WP8 like 2 days ago. So ya. Off to carrier testing it goes. But the reason you are only hearing about hardware is that Microsoft has another shindig coming up next month wear they will break down the new software.

Love their color schemes they should put more color schemes to each OS PLATFORM. I'm tired of seeing the old plaid black charcoal

Why do people talk about design ? Come on, Lumia came out like two weeks ago, do you really think that phones are designed and produced in one month ? HTC probably made this design like one year ago and probably there is also Microsoft involved in this, they probably have some directives how phones should look like. All in all, another great think from HTC

Murati, the Lumia 800 came out ages ago and this HTC phone looks exactly like it. It is ridiculous. Anyway, the Lumia 920 is a by far better phone than this HTC, better specs, better camera, off line Nokia maps, glove friendly and wireless charging.
