Usually a drop or two onto a hard surface result in damage that can't be undone, unless repaired by a professional. Yet some handsets fare better when it comes to accidental drops. The HTC One goes head to head against a competitor that should theoretically be equally sturdy, namely the iPhone 5. Both devices have bodies made of metal, which ensures their rigidity, yet have glass-made screens that are prone to cracking on impact.
