HP in Tabletland: "We’re going to become better than number one. We call it number one plus"

HP in Tabletland:
HP’s foray into Tabletland hasn’t yet started, but the company’s European man-in-chief Eric Cador had already prepared a couple of words to scare off the competition and underline the future greatness of Hewlett-Packard. But let’s put it all in context:

“In the PC world, with fewer ways of differentiating HP's products from our competitors, we became number one; in the tablet world we're going to become better than number one. We call it number one plus," Cador concluded.

Oh, yes, you’ve got it right – the company hasn’t yet launched a single tablet product, but expectations are surely stellar high. Will the upcoming HP TouchPad manage to match the flight of Mr. Cador’s plane of thought? We leave all guesses to you, but one thing is for sure – Tabletland is getting “curiouser and curiouser.”

on the contrary i think WebOS has got awesome eye-candy+functionality....a slew of good productive apps should do the trick of pushing it up to the top tier

Sales talk and bullish*t walks. So far, HP isn't making any tablet sales.

For almost two years, I have loved my Palm Pre. The user interface has been friendly and stable. When the OS has other avenues, I feel it could make a run in tablet world, clearly not Number One+ (similar to “Ludicrous Speed”???)… With the release of the HP Palm 3, their Computers and Laptops running the Palm OS, and this new tablet, I think people will be a bit surprised on how well they do.
