HERE Maps for Android APK leaks, works on all Android models running 4.0 or higher

Nokia has yet to officially unveil the app, but as it turns out, the APK has leaked. Yes, the app does work for all Android models powered by Android 4.0 or higher.
The Nokia HERE Maps offers a full list of features including turn-by-turn navigation. For now, the availability of HERE Maps for Android will most likely be limited to the Samsung Galaxy Apps Store. Besides Sammy's Galaxy powered smartphones, we expect to see HERE be made available for Samsung's Gear line of smartwatches.
If you're interested in downloading the APK, click on the sourcelink below. This version of HERE is in beta, so there is bound to be a few glitches here and there.

It's not like there haven't been offline maps before. Copilot GPS, free version, for example.

Too bad Nokia didn't keep their camera tech as well, and made it available for Android.

Installed on my Nexus 5. Here - Maps for Life for Android has many more features than Here Drive + for Windows Phone and Here Drive for Symbian. The UI is cleaner, you can activate alternate routes, you can customize the UI so it can finally show arrival time or something else such as Time to destination, Distance left, Traffic delay, Travel direction. There are several settings options depending on if you are navigating or roving. You can easily switch from Satellite, Transit and Traffic views and Maps and Drive are all one app instead of two separate apps like on Windows Phone. With the voice files, you can download regular voices that have a smaller file size or Hi-fi voices. Example, the Regular English US voice is 6.8MB but the Hi-fi voice is 64MB. The Hi-fi voices boast "Improved quality for guidance that's easier to hear." You can choose to have either Maps or Drive offline only or both of them offline even though they are in the same Here - Maps for Life app. The actual map data is the same for Windows Phone - version 220.127.116.11 I am thoroughly impressed by the additions and the slick UI. I haven't used it yet since I am at work but just by the redesign, I would love to see this UI and the new features come to Windows Phone. Nokia said that they are still developing the WP version so we should see the features arrive at some point, probably in a big Here Drive + 5.0 release as the current version for Windows Phone is 4.1.5598.0.

I installed the app on my Samsung Galaxy S4 and everything was fine until moments ago. Now the app wont open and it also displays "This Version has Expired" message. Am I the only one with this problem?

If you get a "this version has expired" message, here's how to un-expire it:http://androidunderground.blog
If your Android is rooted, the Xposed module/Time Machine option is the best way to make Here Beta work again.
