Google is now sending out $50 discount codes to people who got their Pixel orders delayed

A few days after Google began sending out Daydream View promo codes to those who had pre-ordered a Pixel phone back in October, the Internet search giant has also begun issuing codes for the $50 in Play Store credit it promised to all customers who pre-ordered one of its flagship phones but didn't receive it in time. Eligible for the credit are pre-orders of either Pixel phone made from Google directly.

To redeem your discount voucher, after getting an email from Google, all you need to do is click the “Get started” button in the email, enter your promo code, click “Redeem”, and use the “Google Play balance” payment option when checking out in the Play Store.

If you are among the people who pre-ordered a Pixel phone early on, you should also be on the lookout for another email by Google, containing a promo code that will net you a free Daydream View unit! If you should be getting either or both of these emails, but still haven't received anything, we'd advise you to regularly check the “Promotions” and “Updates” tabs in your Gmail.
