Google News & Weather gets a new look and new features after update
Google News & Weather received an update on Wednesday. Not only does it bring a new dark theme for the app, it also adds new graphics for the weather, curated news stories, and searchable news. The update should be rolling out to the Google Play Store, and if you head over to My apps, you should find the update awaiting your approval.
The official Android Google+ page is where the news was leaked from, and the site includes a picture of the updated app running on a Nexus 5. From the photo, you can see the new weather graph that allows you to track certain metrics like temperature, wind, rain and humidity on an hour-by-hour basis.
As Google says on the Android Google+ page, "News junkies, rejoice!" So far, there is praise for the new dark theme, and for the new weather graphs. After you install the updated app on your Android device, let us know what you think of the changes by dropping your comments in the box below.
