Google announces new search options in Android Messages app
Google is celebrating 20 years since it launched its search engine with new announcements related to its … search engine. Almost all Google apps and services benefit from its search engine, but there's always room for improvement.
As such, Google announced that the Android Messages app will be getting new search options that will make it easier for users to search through past conversations. The Mountain View company promises that Android Messages users will now be able to find more of the content shared in their conversations by simply searching by contact or type of content.

The new options can be accessed by tapping on the search icon and selecting a specific contact to see your messaging history with them. You can include both one-to-one and group conversations, as well as all the photos, video, addresses or links shared with each other.
All the improvements mentioned above will be rolled out to all Android Messages users this week, so they won't be available to everyone right away.
