Gingerbread is starting to roll out for the Casio G'zOne Commando
Casio G'zOne Commando owners have something to be smiling about today, that’s because the handset is finally getting its healthy dose of the much-anticipated Android 2.3 Gingerbread update.

Besides the usual things that accompany Gingerbread, there are a host of other enhancements and improvements found with the build, which so happens to bring its software to version C771M070. Specifically, it includes a fix to the handset’s proximity sensor, and more importantly, users should expect to see less lag with its operation. Indeed, they’re all nice touches that make this rugged style handset so unique.

So if you haven’t seen that notification light up your phone, then you can always initiate the manual process yourself – but in the meantime, it’s always a good idea to back things up just in case something catastrophic happens.
