First OnePlus 3 camera samples appear, courtesy of the CEO
The OnePlus 3 will be officially announced next week, June 14th, but we already know plenty about the handset, and now there are even samples from its camera to show off, courtesy of the OnePlus CEO's social accounts.

The top OnePlus 3 version is expected to come with a Snapdragon 820 SoC and 6 GB of RAM, and should feature a 5.5-inch display carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution. A 16 MP rear-facing camera will team up with the 8 MP selfie snapper in front. It's the rear snapper's resolution that got reconfirmed today, as the three pics that the OnePlus CEO posted a few pictures of... food, what else.

We won't comment on the quality of the photos, as this might not be a retail unit yet, but at least the EXIF data shows 16 MP (4640x3480 pixels) resolution for the rear camera, which syncs up with the rumors so far. Be patient, as these are the full-res samples, and will take a while to load.

They look very good! The selfie is a bit blurry but the other images look incredibly sharp.

Think the blurry selfie is deliberate to give the others 100% validity but I have no trust in this company. Most likely had 3rd party lighting to enhance image...

How are Sony sensors categorized? IMX ABC, A= generation? BC= class?

Not sure but...2xx is used for mobile device cameras, used in most android phones. Nexus 6P has 3xx (IMX377) sensor from Sony's professional camera parts.

the Z5 has the IMX300 Lots of phones have sensors from the IMX100 series e.g. LG G3/Flex 2, Moto X 2014, Xiaomi Mi 3

First two pics seem slightly out of focus (maybe the focus point is wrong?)

They're not bad but I'm not hugely wowed at the same time.

Whats the aperture is EXIF data? Look Okay. Not bad, Not great either. Considering The CEO posted it, i guess these are the best they have, which is a bit disappointing.

I think the Moto g 4 plus, zenfone 3 and oneplus 3 all use the same camera.

Moto G 4 uses Omnivision, is it not?
