FaceTime in iOS 7 getting voice calling
It wasn't enough of a major announcement to get a demo or even its own segment of the show, but users should be happy to note that FaceTime is finally getting the option for voice-only calling with the iOS 7 update. Apple didn't give a lot of information on the update, but did say that FaceTime will be able to make "high quality calls over a data network". Given that no specific type of "data network" was mentioned, we assume this means anything from 3G to WiFi will work with the app.
