Evan Blass is confident that the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will launch on September 16th
While multiple sources have been calling for the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus to be  unveiled on September 7th with pre-orders starting two days later, the actual launch date of the device is apparently going to be on September 16th or September 23rd. The latter is the date suggested by a leaked internal AT&T document. September 16th is the launch date according to tipster Evan Blass.

Just the other day, Blass reiterated the call he made back in July, stating that new iPhone models would be in stores a week after pre-orders begin. What makes the two possible launch dates even more believable is the fact that they both fall out on a Friday, which is when Apple usually releases the latest iPhone models.

Based on specs that we passed along to you yesterday, the Apple iPhone 7 will no longer have a 3.5mm earphone jack although it will be waterproof. The A10 chipset will be under the hood with a 1960mAh battery inside. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has all of those changes but will now offer models with 32GB/128GB/256GB of native storage. In addition, the phablet will have a 50% increase in RAM to 3GB and will feature a dual 12MP camera setup on back.

16GB for September 16th! If they were moving to 32GB they'd be holding the event on September 32nd. *s

Next year Apple will also start manufacturing low end and midranger to compensate loses and decline sales. May be we can also see third party manufacturers running ios. This wil make the competition fair and really intresting. A new age is about to start with this flop. Atleast, if I were Tim Cook ,I would have done the same.

Thank God you aren't Tim Cook then, because that's a terrible business decision. Apple is part of a Duo Monopoly with Samsung at the moment and have been winning where it counts, profits. Why would they compromise profit maximization to satiate the portion of the populace they've NEVER appealed to? To get handsets into more people's hands? That goes against everything Apple's has been about for a decade. They offer premium luxury products at high prices......that's just the way they do things. Stop trying to make Apple "Samsung West".......

Lol premium luxury? No one but poor people consider iPhones premium luxury. A phone that is miles behind in design, materials and features is only premium to iFanatics. For that matter, a good number of people who buy the iPhone in North americas did so on contract for less than 200, so Yea... That's premium luxury... For poor people pretending to be rich.

Yeah, stop with the premium luxury nonsense. McDonald's cashiers aren't driving a Rolls to work, they're not sporting a Rolex on their wrists, they're not jetting to Monte Carlo for lunch. But, many are using iPhones. The iPhone is not a luxury item.

Classification in economics is fundamental...... so rather than overreacting to a word, use common sense and denote it's context. In economics a luxury item is defined as an item that holds reputable value in the market while not being an essential. What's strange is, demand for the iPhone is considered inelastic by it's very nature (meaning that despite the price people still covet it), one of the few non-necessities that fit into that template.

I'm sorry kid, but phone with stone age technology and highest crash rate cannot be considered as premium luxury products. Only devoted sheep like u will call it luxury just because it has a rotten apple logo on it.

Isheeps will love the fact they get to buy the same phone that 3 years old without a headphone jack, lol. Once iOS 10 comes out there will be no difference in software so what's the point, every isheep will have the same new software features.

Apple really trailing from Samsung is in camera and display. Samsung is always feature rich. If this year Apple can beat Samsung in camera and next year equal the game in display they will be again equal to me. Performance on iphone is always top notch better than Sammy or for most part any Android phone. I don't know how I feel about iphone design but Apple need to bring something new to surprise us

Question is will it sell better than iphone 6s/6s plus ? Selling well is good but selling less than last year don't seem like it.

On the tv other day, they was on about the new phome being reported by the old Apple owner that there is not going to be tha headphone port and they was all iPhone. Users, they was not down with that and all said that will put them off upgrading even more than the 6s did, they was even up on the port having the best sound over wireless or any other way of doing it, so this is very bad news for apple, they was not tech reporters but just news reporters

Because isheep users are brainwashed and will buy whatever Apple makes no questions asked. That's a fact.

So...water proofing is more of a priority than consumer convenience - ex: headphone jack?
