Evan Blass is confident that the Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will launch on September 16th
While multiple sources have been calling for the Apple iPhone 7 and Apple iPhone 7 Plus to be  unveiled on September 7th with pre-orders starting two days later, the actual launch date of the device is apparently going to be on September 16th or September 23rd. The latter is the date suggested by a leaked internal AT&T document. September 16th is the launch date according to tipster Evan Blass.

Just the other day, Blass reiterated the call he made back in July, stating that new iPhone models would be in stores a week after pre-orders begin. What makes the two possible launch dates even more believable is the fact that they both fall out on a Friday, which is when Apple usually releases the latest iPhone models.

Based on specs that we passed along to you yesterday, the Apple iPhone 7 will no longer have a 3.5mm earphone jack although it will be waterproof. The A10 chipset will be under the hood with a 1960mAh battery inside. The Apple iPhone 7 Plus has all of those changes but will now offer models with 32GB/128GB/256GB of native storage. In addition, the phablet will have a 50% increase in RAM to 3GB and will feature a dual 12MP camera setup on back.
